Whats new pussy cat?
The Pussycat Dolls are back...but there was only one familiar face in the performance they gave over the weekend. Nicole Scherzinger of course is still repping for the dolls and now backed by Kherington Payne who starred in the 'Fame' remake and contestant of 'So You Think You Can Dance', LA Lakers dancer Vanessa Curry, Rino Nakasone-Razalan former Gwen Stefani 'Harajuku Girl' and 'Americas Best Dance Crew contestant and finally Jamie Lee Ruiz who didnt make the final cut in 'Pussycat Dolls Presents:Girlious'.
Following in the foot steps of Destinys Child & the Sugababes will this major reshuffle work for or against the Dolls??

Is bigger better?
When you speak of the 'issues' within the fashion industry size zero models is always top of the list. What are your views, Should designers enlist more 'natural' or 'normal' looking women to showcase their latest collections on the runway?
There are some very nice designs in this collection but I think the designer and his team majorly FAILED in this attempt at changing the fashion industrys views on plus size models.
Well up and coming knitwear designer Mark Fast challenged this concept in his Spring/Summer 2010 collection. This clearly didnt go down well with a lot of people. His show stylist quit and has been accused by some fashion critic as using this as self publicity. Mark Fast is quoted as saying "But I met these girls and I loved their charisma". But is charisma really enough to make a good model?
Looking through at the models he selected I personally think he made the wrong choice in both the plus size and regular catwalk sized models. The plus size girls appear to be buldging out of some of these outfits (maybe the lack of a stylist is the result of this) but they weren't dressed, styled or made up in a way which flattered their curves.
On the other side of the scale with the 'size zero' models, there were a few models looking like skeletors long lost sister..

Wonderful!
Tim Burtons adaptation of Alice in Wonderland is one of 2010's most anticipated movies. If you've seen any of his previous work (Edward Sisscor Hands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,Beatle Juice, Sleepy Hollow, Sweent Todd & the list goes on) you will know to expect an edgy dark twist on the childrens classic. Stars of the film include Tim Burton movie regulars Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.
In celebration of the movies release punk provocateur jewelry designer Tim Binns has been commisioned to design a limited edition Alice in Wonderland inspired collection. 35 pieces from the collection will be available at a retail price of $100-$200(Roughly £65-£130) and 6 pieces will be on the $1,000-$2,0000 price range(Roughly £650-£12,50) heres a few bits from the collection.
